Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Vernum, you agree to these terms. Vernum is operated by Seçil Nur Akgün, an individual developer based in Türkiye.

1. The Service
Vernum lets you spend coins to rent a temporary phone number for the sole purpose of receiving SMS verification codes for that rental. Numbers are temporary and are released once the rental window ends or the verification is complete. A rented number is not a personal phone line: it cannot make or receive calls, and you cannot keep it.

2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use rented numbers only for lawful purposes, and only where doing so is permitted by the platform you are verifying with. You may not use the service to impersonate another person, to create accounts in someone else's name, to send spam, to commit fraud, to evade a ban or suspension, or for any illegal activity. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the platform you use the number with. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service, without refund.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Vernum.

4. Coins & Refunds
Coins are the in-app credit used to rent numbers. Where coin purchases are offered inside the Android app, they are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policy. Coins have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred between accounts.

If a rented number receives no code before the rental window expires, the coins spent on that rental are refunded automatically to your balance. Apart from this automatic refund, coins spent on a completed rental are non-refundable.

5. No Guarantee of Delivery
We route rentals through providers selected for high delivery success rates, but SMS delivery ultimately depends on third-party carriers and on the platform you are verifying with, which are outside our control. We do not promise that any particular verification attempt will succeed; the automatic refund above is the remedy when a code does not arrive. Some platforms reject numbers that have been used before, and we cannot influence that.

6. Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Profile > Delete account in the app, from Settings > Danger zone on the website, or as described at https://vernum.app/delete-account.html. Deleting your account permanently removes your balance and order history.

7. Availability
The catalogue of countries and services, and their prices, are provided by our upstream provider and change frequently. We may add or remove countries and services, and change prices, at any time. The price shown at the moment you confirm a rental is the price you pay.

8. Disclaimer & Liability
Vernum is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Turkish consumer law that cannot be waived.

9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
