About Vernum

Vernum is a coin-based service for renting temporary (virtual) phone numbers to receive SMS verification codes. It was founded in 2026 by an independent developer based in Turkey and offers numbers in 190+ countries for WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Google, Steam and hundreds of other services, through an Android app and a web dashboard.

What we do

When you don't want to hand your real phone number to a service just to verify an account, Vernum steps in: you pick a country and a service, coins are deducted from your balance, a real number is assigned to you, and the verification code appears in your dashboard within the countdown. If the timer runs out with no code, your coins are refunded automatically.

• Live catalog: country and service prices refresh hourly and are visible without an account on the all services & prices page.
• Success-rate ranking: when you search for a service, countries are ordered by measured real SMS delivery success.
• Automatic refunds: no manual claim is needed for orders where no code arrives.

How our guides are written

The articles on the Vernum Blog are written by testing each service's verification flow in our own dashboard; every post shows its publication date and, where applicable, its last update. We revise guides as services change their rules. If you spot an error, email us using the address below and we will reflect the correction in the post's update date.

Our approach to privacy

We only keep your sign-up email, the numbers you rent and your balance history; a number is released back to the pool when the rental ends, the messages it received stay in your order history until you delete them, and you can permanently delete your account at any time.
